NVIDIA and Microsoft Team Up to Provide AI Startups with Dual Acceleration Boost

2 minutes

NVIDIA and Microsoft have announced a new collaboration to support global AI startups in various industries, starting with healthcare and life sciences. This initiative, announced at the HLTH healthcare innovation conference, aims to connect the startup ecosystem by bringing together the NVIDIA Inception global program and Microsoft for Startups. This will provide startups with access to accelerated computing, cloud credits, AI development software, and support from technical and business experts.

The first phase of this collaboration will focus on high-potential digital health and life sciences companies that are part of both programs. These companies will receive $150,000 of Microsoft Azure credits, up to $200,000 worth of Microsoft business tools, and priority access to the Pegasus Program for go-to-market support. Additionally, NVIDIA Inception will provide 10,000 ai.nvidia.com inference credits, preferred pricing on NVIDIA AI Enterprise, early access to new NVIDIA healthcare offerings, and opportunities to connect with investors and industry partners.

Both NVIDIA and Microsoft will also provide dedicated technical support and hands-on workshops to help these startups develop digital health applications using the NVIDIA technology stack on Azure. This collaboration aims to support startups at every stage, as hundreds of companies are already part of both NVIDIA Inception and Microsoft for Startups, using accelerated computing and AI to advance their work.

One example of a startup benefiting from this collaboration is Artisight, a smart hospital company using AI to improve operational efficiency and patient care. Their products use NVIDIA Riva for conversational AI, NVIDIA DeepStream for vision AI, and NVIDIA Triton Inference server for AI inference in production. With the support of NVIDIA Inception and Microsoft for Startups, Artisight has been able to scale their products and help top U.S. hospitals care for thousands of patients while keeping key information secure.

Overall, this collaboration between NVIDIA and Microsoft will provide startups with the necessary resources and support to develop innovative AI solutions in healthcare and other industries.
